Turn gas consumption into customer charges

Selcomm can receive gas usage and supplier charge information, connect it to the relevant product and customer, and apply configurable tariffs and billing rules. The resulting charges can flow through the same account, payment, reporting and bill-production processes as other services.

This is particularly useful for providers managing several recurring products. Gas can retain its own measurement and tariff structure while participating in a consolidated customer and commercial model.

Data Acquisition

A fully integrated data acquisition, storage and analysis platform for Carriers, MVNOs and any Communications Service Provider collecting usage transactions from third-party systems or devices such as switches. Full Validation, Editing and Estimation (VEE) is built in, and new feeds can be adapted with ease.

Rating

Selcomm provides a sophisticated rating engine for the construction and mapping of service detail records into a common usage format for subsequent processing. Its high-speed processing engine uses multiple program threads across multiple server processors to cater for the volumes of data a network can generate.

Tariffing

Selcomm views Tariffs as the application of charges to the transaction details for which Service Providers charge their Customers. Tariffs can consist of a complex variety of retail charging, from the categorisation of the transaction through to the addition of fixed and periodic charges.

Fully customisable bill and statement formats delivered as hardcopy, PDF, file or other formats — by post, bulk email, web portal, or on demand via CRM. Service by cost centre in the bill, audit and tax reporting, graphical spend comparison, loyalty status and more.
