Who we are
A specialist software company that does one thing well.
Selcomm is the only product Select Software Solutions builds. We are not a consulting practice that sells code on the side, and we are not a managed-service business that uses billing as bait. We build, maintain, and license a single enterprise platform — and we have been doing it since 1994.
That focus matters. Telco billing is unforgiving — it is the system that turns network usage into revenue, and a small fault propagates across millions of transactions. Doing it well requires sustained, specialist engineering. Spreading that effort across multiple products is how billing platforms get fragile.

Founded in Sydney
Select Software Solutions established to build telco-grade billing for Australian operators. Selcomm v1 ships to its first carrier customer.

Deregulation era
Australian telco market opens up. Selcomm becomes a platform of choice for the new wave of post-deregulation challengers entering fixed-line and mobile.
- 2000s
Carrier-grade scale
Adopted by full-service carriers and wholesalers. Convergent rating and billing for voice, data, SMS, and value-added services across mobile and fixed networks.

Cloud & convergence
Cloud deployment models added alongside on-premise. Convergent billing extends to broadband, NBN resale, satellite, and the first IoT operators.
